Disrupting Fraud ROI

I had the pleasure of interviewing Vanita Pandey, CMO of Arkose Labs, at Money2020 this year in Las Vegas. When you meet her, the first thing you notice is that she is a force to reckon with when it comes to payment fraud. She understands the business and the nuances in a way only a practitioner could. It is not surprising given her extensive experience in the financial services industry, where she was instrumental in developing go-to-market strategies, establishing strategic vision, and strengthening brands globally.

Just like myself, she came from a different part of the world and first tried to fit in, only to realize the best way to be is to be yourself.

After working in India for a few years and going to B-school in the US, she worked at Capital One and Visa, and then joined several Silicon Valley startups and became a well-known leader in the rapidly evolving B2B marketing space.

Here is the full interview with Vanita Pandey:

Vanita is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at Arkose Labs, a leading provider of online fraud prevention technology that disrupts how attacks are monetized while delivering an unrivaled customer experience. The fraud platform accurately identifies bad actors through Telemetry, and then targets them with an Adaptive Step-Up Challenge to diminish attack ROI without adding friction for good customers. Arkose Labs works with some of the world’s largest enterprises and is trusted to safeguard the buyer journey and defend against evolving threats.

At the Money 2020 Payments Conference, Vanita was also a speaker at the RiseUp program, mentoring and supporting other women in financial services, mostly early in their careers.

She knows the value and impact of mentorship as she credits her managers at a few companies earlier in her career who mentored her and gave her a chance to step into meaningful roles that have led her to where she is today.

I highly recommend you check out Arkose Labs solutions and their efforts to bring speakers from the industry together to educate and inform everyone about fraud.

At the conference I had the pleasure of interviewing Kevin Gosschalk, CEO Arkose Labs. Keep an eye out for my post.

In the meantime, if any of you know Whitney Wolfe Herd, CEO of Bumble, please see if can connect Vanita to her, she is a huge fan. Her story inspires Vanita and she considers her a great role model.
