Growing a invoice and payments company

It was a pleasure to meet Michael Young, CEO of Photon Commerce. He is a serial entrepreneur and has founded several companies and exited successfully.

He is currently focused on the B2B payments space of account payables and receivables. He is passionate about empowering business leaders with the most impactful technology of our time: machine intelligence. This company has invented a breakthrough in computer vision and natural language processing technology that understands, classifies, captures, and reconciles invoices and receipts.

Photon Commerce has helped over 120 fintech and e-commerce businesses capture $11 billion in invoices and receipts to accelerate commerce using machine intelligence.

Photon Commerce's AI platform for fintech, invoices, and payments reduces payments costs by up to 33% while accelerating customer acquisition. Photon enables teams to collaborate around invoicing, share intelligence, and achieve end-to-end visibility over customer data. It is backed by the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center and Village Global, a venture firm funded by Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, and other industry leaders. In previous roles, Photon's team has closed over $120M in deals in financial services and eCommerce.

The company is hiring worldwide. Do check out the various job openings. I have had the pleasure of speaking to Michael a few times in the past and have always been very impressed by his detailed understanding and approach. He is not afraid to ask questions, dive deeper, and explore further. The video above focused on his hiring plans, and I am glad to see he is open to hiring folks with non-fintech backgrounds.

I wish Michael and his team good luck and look forward to updates as they continue to progress.
