Ready for a fully insured fraud fight ?

I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing Kevin Gosschalk, Founder and CEO of Arkose Labs. Since launching the company in 2016, he has been instrumental in building a suite of fraud prevention solutions that deliver long term remediation from attacks by breaking the underlying economics behind online fraud. Under Kevin’s leadership, Arkose Labs has raised more than $114 million in venture funding, rapidly scaled its customer base and workforce. And has transformed the world of digital commerce by working with some of the world’s leading businesses.

Based in San Francisco, California, with offices in Brisbane, Australia and London, UK the company was honored as the 195th fastest growing companies in the United States on the 2021 Inc 5000 list. Kevin has been named CEO of the year by Cyber Defense Magazine. Deloitte Technology Fast 500 and Fast Company have awarded Arkose Labs with the “Next Big Thing in Tech” award. The company has been recognized by Gartner as a “Cool Vendor in Fraud and Authentication” in 2021.

Kevin Gosschalk, CEO Arkose Labs, was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia, and graduated from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with a degree in Interactive Entertainment. Prior to founding Arkose Labs he worked in biomedical research where he used machine vision technology for early detection of diabetes. He later developed technology that assisted adults with intellectual differences in social settings. His unique background has enabled him to take this disruptive approach that gamifies fraud prevention.

Arkose Labs was founded by Kevin in 2016, it bankrupts the business model of fraud. The companies innovative approach determines true user intent and remediates attacks in real-time. Risk assessments combined with interactive authentication challenges undermine the ROI behind attacks, providing long-term protection while improving good customer throughput. Backed by Microsoft, PayPal, SoftBank and Wells Fargo, Arkose Labs is hailed by customers as a user-friendly solution to an ever-evolving fraud landscape.

At Money 2020 last year the company announced its industry-first warranty on account protection solution to minimize the threat of credential stuffing attacks. Born out of commitment to partnerships with businesses, the Credential Stuffing Warranty protects up to $1m of the multi-faceted costs resulting from hacked accounts.
