Cultivating Diversity in Fintech

It was a pleasure meeting Rawan Shawar, Senior Software Engineer @ACI Worldwide and Amplify Money 20/20 Board Advisor. This year Money 20/20 launched a new program called Amplify, to increase visibility and cultivating people of color.

It is a four-day, curated program, that connects black, brown and people of color within financial services. It also provides access and conversation with forward thinking leaders from the industry, fostering leadership development and business connections.

Rawan has been a rising star at Money 20/20 since 2019, as part of the Rise Up program which opened many career opportunities for her since her completion of the program. Now as part of the advisor board launching Amplify, she is giving back and continuing to pay it forward and helping others rise and shine. What an amazing and inspiring journey.
